The data we collect
- Contact data — name, email, phone, company.
- Business data — accounting records you share with us when you become a client.
- Usage data — basic analytics (pages visited, device type). We do not profile individuals.
- Communications — emails and messages you send to us.
How we use your data (lawful bases)
- Provide services you request (contract).
- Respond to enquiries (legitimate interests).
- Comply with law and professional obligations (legal obligation).
- Improve our site and services (legitimate interests, anonymised where possible).
Sharing
We only share data with trusted providers as needed to deliver our services (e.g. email/hosting, accounting software) and where appropriate data processing terms are in place. We never sell your data.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to 12 months. Client records are retained in line with UK accounting/tax requirements (typically 6 years), then securely deleted.
Security
We use encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls and least-privilege practices. If we become aware of a data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the ICO where required.
